Çağatay Çeken (born May 18, 1992 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Çeken was born in the Şişli district of Istanbul and began playing club football in 2004 in Istanbul's Beşiktaş youth department . After moving to the youth department of Kasımpaşa in Istanbul in 2007 , he returned to Beşiktaş after a year.

In the summer of 2011, he left the Beşiktaş 'youth department and started his career in men's football with the amateur club AS Akyazıspor . After just one season he was committed by the Istanbul fourth division club Üsküdar Anadolu 1908 SK , the second club of the first division side Sivasspor , and thus received his first professional contract. At this club he played for the next three and a half seasons. He finished the fourth division season 2014/15 with his team as champions of the TFF 3rd Lig and rose with her to the TFF 2nd Lig .

For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was given to the first division and mother club Sivasspor . Here he made his debut in the league game on January 16, 2016 against Galatasaray Istanbul in the Süper Lig . In January 2017 he moved to third division club MKE Ankaragücü .

National team

Çeken started his national team career in 2013. This year he was nominated for the Turkish Olympic team at the Islamic Solidarity Games and was used in all two games of his team. With his team, Çeken was third in the tournament.
