Çetin Ersarı

Çetin Ersarı (* 1936 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish vice admiral who was, among other things, commander-in-chief of the coast guard ( Türk Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı ) between 1986 and 1988 .

Life

After attending school, Ersarı completed an officer training course at the Naval School ( Deniz Harp Okulu ), which he graduated in 1957. Subsequently, he was used as a naval officer on various ships and command units of the Navy ( Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri ) most recently from 1967 to 1969 as an operational planning officer in NATO - Command of the Allied Naval Forces Southern Europe COMNAVSOUTH ( Commander Naval Forces Southern Europe ) in Malta .
