Édouard Marie Marc Mény de Marangue (born November 30, 1882 in Paris , † January 23, 1960 in Beaulieu-sur-Mer ) was a French tennis player .

Career

Édouard Mény de Marangue won in 1910 with Marguerite Mény the mixed competition of the French Tennis Championships , the forerunner of today's French Open.

Mény de Marangue competed in singles and doubles with Albert Canet at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 . Canet and he moved into their semifinals, where they were defeated by Felix Pipes and Arthur Zborzil in five sets. In the match for bronze they then prevailed against Jaroslav Just and Ladislav Žemla . In the singles he was eliminated after a 2-0 lead in five sets by Luis Heyden in the first round.
