Henry Albert Canet (born April 17, 1878 in London , † July 25, 1930 in Paris ) was a French tennis player .
Career
Albert Canet competed in three competitions at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm : singles, doubles with Édouard Mény de Marangue and mixed with Marguerite Broquedis . In the individual , he was eliminated in the third round against Theodore Pell . In doubles, he and Mény de Marangue made it to the semi-finals, where they were defeated by Felix Pipes and Arthur Zborzil in five sets. In the match for bronze they then prevailed against Jaroslav Just and Ladislav Žemla . In the mixed competition, Canet and Broquedis were left behind against Dora Köring and Heinrich Schomburgk . They received the bronze medal without playing for it.
