François Alexandre Émile Billard (born April 5, 1852 in Le Havre , † June 29, 1930 ibid) was a French sailor .
successes
Émile Billard, who sailed for the Société des Régates du Havre , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in the boat class 10 to 20 tons . Together with Paul Perquer , he won the first and third of a total of three races with his yacht Estérel and took second place in the second. With 29 total points, Billard and Perquer won the regatta ahead of the Quand-même by Jean Decazes and the Laurea by Edward Hore , making them Olympic champions .
