Éric Elmosnino (born May 2, 1964 in Suresnes , France ) is a French actor .

Life

After studying acting at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique , Éric Elmosnino played at the Théâtre des Amandiers . Elmosnino had his first major role in the cinema in 1992 as Guillaume de Tonquédec's best friend and brief opponent Christian Ribet in the comedy Tableau d'honneur . Supporting roles followed for years until he made his breakthrough to star in 2010 as the eponymous hero of the biopic Gainsbourg - The Man Who Loved Women .
