Étienne Diemunsch (born April 10, 1988 in Fay sur Lignon) is a French triathlete and duathlete . He is U23 Duathlon World Champion on the short distance (2010, 2011) and Duathlon Vice World Champion (2014).

Career

Étienne Diemunsch has been practicing triathlon since he was ten.

In 2010 he was world triathlon champion in Spain.

With the French U23 team, Diemunsch came second in December 2010 at the European Cross Country Championships in Portugal.
In 2010 and again in 2011 he was U23 duathlon world champion on the short distance. In the French championship series he starts for the Sartrouville team .

In May 2014 he became vice world champion duathlon in Spain.

Long distance triathlon since 2016

At the Embrunman , Étienne Diemunsch started the long-distance triathlon for the first time in August 2016 and finished sixth.

At his second start at Ironman France , the 30-year-old finished eighth as the third-best Frenchman in Nice in June 2018.

Étienne Diemunsch lives in Clermont-Ferrand .
