The race on the Cote d'Azur was first held in April 2014. It is one of the first European races of the racing season on the middle distance and attracts not only the French but also many international athletes.

There is also a parallel race over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

At the fourth edition in April 2017, the bike course was extended from 80 to 95 kilometers. The triathlon today is over the middle distance (half-Ironman): 2 km swimming, 95 km cycling (with 1500 hm) and 16 km running. In 2017 848 athletes reached the finish line as individual starters.
