The company from Câmpulung started producing automobiles in 1957. The brand name was IMM . Production ended in 1965 when ARO took over the company.

The company manufactured off-road vehicles . They were variants of the GAZ-69 . A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a displacement of 2100 cc and 51 hp , which was developed under a license from Renault , provided the drive . The vehicles were used by the army, the police, and in agriculture and forestry.
