Ömer Aysan Barış (born July 23, 1982 in İzmit ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Ömer Barış started his professional career at Kocaelispor . He made his debut on December 22, 2000 in the league game against Fenerbahçe Istanbul . In the 2001/02 season, Ömer surprisingly won the Turkish Cup with Kocaelispor . In the final they defeated the favorites Beşiktaş Istanbul clearly 4-0. A season later, however, the team rose to the 2nd division . Nevertheless, Barış remained loyal to his team.
For the 2005/06 season Ömer Barış moved to second division rivals Bursaspor . He succeeded with the team the promotion to the Turkcell Süper Lig . After three years at Bursaspor, he was signed by Ankaraspor . He stayed in the capital for a season and then left. Ankaraspor was excluded from the Turkcell Süper Lig in the 2009/10 season; the players could then change their club free of charge. Ömer Aysan Barış did so and moved to Trabzonspor . After one season and fourteen games, his contract was not renewed and he was hired by Manisaspor .
In the summer of 2012, his move to the first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu was announced. Here his contract was terminated after a year. After Barış remained without a club for the next six months, he moved to the second division Şanlıurfaspor in spring 2014 . In April 2014, after mutual agreement with the club's management, he dissolved his contract and left this club.
