The Austrian handball championship 1959/60 was organized by the Austrian Handball Federation and played in field handball. The championship was awarded in a cup system with the respective national champions as participants. Here the Styrian master ATUS Bruck was able to prevail relatively clearly. The clear away win of 8-2 in the final first leg against Urfahr, who awarded three fourteen meters and landed seven rod shots, laid the foundation for success.
