The Eastern High Field ( Norwegian Austre Høgskeidet ) is an ice-covered plateau in Queen Maud Land . In the Wohlthatmassiv it lies between the Skeidshornet , the Grabenhorn and Zwieselberg in the west and the southern Petermann chain in the east.
It was named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher .
