The Western High Field ( Norwegian Vestre Høgskeidet ) is a glaciated plateau in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the west of the Wohlthatmassiv it lies between the two southern ridges of the Alexander von Humboldt Mountains .

It was named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher .
