The Ülker Sports Arena (full name: Fenerbahçe Uluslararası Spor Kompleksi Ülker Sports Arena , German Fenerbahçe International Sports Complex Ülker Sports Arena ) is a multi-purpose hall in the Asian district of Ataşehir in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul . The construction cost 200 million TL
history
Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım bought the property in Ataşehir . The design comes from the Design Development Group in collaboration with Ömerler Architecture, and the financial support came from the main sponsor of the men's basketball team, Yıldız Holding, so that construction of the arena began in 2008.
The arena with up to 15,000 seats and 44 luxury boxes was largely financed by the main sponsor of the men's basketball team Yıldız Holding and therefore bears the name Ülker . Currently, the men , among others , like the women's basketball team of Fenerbahçe SK, use the hall. The venue holds 13,500 visitors for sporting events and has a second smaller hall for training purposes with a capacity of 2,500 spectators. The property is 67,000 m² and has six large and five small changing rooms. Under the roof of the hall, a 28.5-ton depends video cube with four LED - screens with a total of 250 square meters.
