İlhan Eker (born January 1, 1983 in Kepsut ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Eker began his professional career with the second team of Gençlerbirliği Ankara , at Hacettepe SK in the fourth Turkish football league. He managed to get promoted to the Süper Lig with the team . After his first Süper Lig season with Hacettepespor, İlhan Eker returned to Gençlerbirliği Ankara. In the 2009/10 season, Eker was named captain of the team under the direction of Thomas Doll .

A season later he moved to the traditional club Fenerbahçe Istanbul on a free transfer . After a year at Fenerbahçe, he moved to Kayserispor and in the summer of 2012 to the first division newcomer Kasımpaşa Istanbul . In the summer of 2015, Kasımpaşa had to leave after its expired contract was not renewed. He then moved to the second division side Balıkesirspor .
