Career
society
Hanzel began his career at FC Spartak Trnava , where he was part of the professional squad from 2004. By January 2008 he made 38 appearances in the Corgoň league , but was then loaned out to FC Senec for six months . In the 2008/09 season he played again for Spartak Trnava. In August 2009, after he had already played four league games in Slovakia, FC Schalke 04 loaned him out until the end of the first half of the season with the option to take him under contract for another two and a half years.
On December 12, 2009, Hanzel came in the game at Werder Bremen to his first Bundesliga appearance for Schalke 04 when he came on in the 90th minute for Jefferson Farfán . The option to continue working was not taken after the first half of the season, so Hanzel returned to his previous employer.
In January 2013, Hanzel moved to the Polish first division club Jagiellonia Białystok . He signed a three-year contract until the end of December 2015. In May 2013, however, the contract was terminated prematurely by mutual agreement.
Then followed the move to FC Banants Yerevan with an interim loan to Dukla Prague . He has been back in his home country since 2015, currently with third division club FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa .
National team
On June 6, 2009, Hanzel made his debut in the national team in Bratislava . In the 7-0 win over San Marino in World Cup qualification , he played for the entire 90 minutes and scored the seventh goal for his team.
