Łukasz Chyła

Łukasz Chyła (born March 31, 1981 in Dziemiany ) is a Polish sprinter .

In 2001 he won at the U23 European Championships in Amsterdam Silver 200 m and with the Polish team gold in the by-100-meter relay 4 . With the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay he came in seventh place at the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton, won silver at the 2002 European Athletics Championships in Munich and took place at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m , each time fifth.

In 2005 he qualified for the quarter-finals at the World Cup in Helsinki , but did not start there. At the EM 2006 in Gothenburg, he was eliminated in the semifinals over 100 m and won silver again with the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he was part of the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay, which did not reach the goal in the run-up.

In 2004 he became Polish champion over 100 m. In 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 he won the national title over 60 m in the hall .
