Ścieżka nad Reglami (German about: path through the bars ) is a hiking trail in the Western Tatras in Poland . It is marked in black. It is considered a moderately difficult hiking trail. Its length is 17 kilometers. From the path there are views of the mountain ranges of the Western Tatras , the Pogórze Gubałowskie and the western districts of Zakopane .
Below the path, the path runs parallel under the bars .
A path of the same name, path over the bars , is on the Polish side of the Giant Mountains .
Location and route
The route begins in Zakopane district Kuźnice on the pasture Kalatówki the mountain hotel Kalatówki and leads westward through numerous valleys and mountain passes in the Western Tatras valley Dolina Chochołowska . The hiking trail lies within the Tatra National Park .

history
The trail was laid out in the century before last and expanded in 1954.
etymology
The name of the path was initially Ścieżka za Reglami (German: path behind the bars ). In 1973 he was named after Józef Oppenheim , the long-time (1914–1939) chairman of the Tatra mountain rescue service .
