Świerkocin [ ɕfjɛrˈkɔt͡ɕin ] ( German Fichtwerder) is a village in Gmina Witnica , in the Polish voivodeship of Lebus . It is located 8 km east of Witnica (Vietz) and 20 km southwest of Gorzów Wielkopolski . The village has about 300 inhabitants.
The village belonged to the Zielona Góra Voivodeship from 1950 to 1975 and to the Gorzów Wielkopolski Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 .

There are two tourist bike paths through the village :
- Gostkowice - Świerkocin - Dąbroszyn (22 km)
- Świerkocin - Nowiny Wielkie - Nowe Dzieduszyce - Lubno (12.7 km)
