The City of Prague has ordered 250 of these one-way vehicles with a 100% low-floor area. The first car has been since the 6. October 2010 in Prague in trial operation with passengers. In contrast to the 14T in multi-articulated design, the 15T again received real bogies, whereby the manufacturer succeeded for the first time in realizing a stepless and continuously low-floor interior using Jakobs bogies . All vehicles of the second series, also called Škoda 15T4, which were delivered from August 2015, are equipped with free internet access (WiFi) and air conditioning. A vehicle from this series was first used on 25. August 2015 on line 18. A total of 125 vehicles, i.e. half of the order, are to be delivered as a second series.
