construction
These are three-part, four-axle one-way vehicles , some of which have a low-floor area. There are four doors on the right-hand side of the vehicle: the middle section has a double door, the front and end sections each have a single door.
The low-floor middle section is suspended between the two end pieces. The floor is there 350 mm above the upper edge of the rail . Overall, the low-floor area comprises around 50% of the interior. The other parts have the normal height of 780 mm above the top of the rail.
The electrical device that can feed braking energy back into the network is installed on the roof of the vehicle. The power consumption is controlled via power semiconductors ( IGBT ).

Prototypes
Two prototypes were made in 1997. They were originally intended to be used for trial operations in Pilsen. However, since the Ostrava transport company ordered two sets, one of the two cars was relocated to Ostrava towards the end of 1997 after a brief operation in Pilsen. From mid-April 1998 it was used in public operations with road number 1201 and then handed over to the Pilsen Municipal Transport Authority at the beginning of September - after the first series-produced car had been delivered. In Pilsen it had been in operation since the beginning of October 1998 with road number 300. As a result of a rear-end collision in January 2006, it was retired and dismantled in May 2008.
The second pre-series car has been in operation in Pilsen since 1998. The test drives that are necessary to obtain the operating license were carried out with him. It has the road number 301.
