Șandra ( Hungarian Krasznasándorfalu , also Sándorfalu ; German Schandern ) is a village in the Satu Mare district in Romania .
In the year 1910 the city had 592 inhabitants , in 1992 the city had only 207 inhabitants and according to the census in 2010 there were only 56 inhabitants. The first written mention of Șandra was in 1316 . Alexander Bélteki Drágfi is the neighboring village of Șandra.
Şandra was the home of some Sathmar Swabians who emigrated to Germany.
