(11043) Pepping is an asteroid of the Main Belt . It was discovered by Freimut Börngen at the Tautenburg observatory on December 25, 1989 and has an absolute brightness of 14 mag. The orbital period is 3.68 years, the inclination towards the ecliptic 5.18 ° and the distance from the sun in perihelion 1.89 and in aphelion 2.87 astronomical units .
The asteroid was named on January 24, 2000 after Ernst Pepping (1901–1981), an organist, music professor and composer of church music.
