(11451) Aarongolden is an asteroid that was discovered on August 22, 1979 by the Swedish astronomer Claes-Ingvar Lagerkvist .
It was named on November 11, 2000 after the astronomer Aaron Golden (* 1969) of the National University of Ireland, Galway .
