(1153) Wallenbergia is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 5 September 1924 by the Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Beliavsky at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in simeiz was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the German mathematician Georg James Wallenberg .
