(12101) Trujillo is an asteroid of the main belt , which on May 1, 1998 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search project of Lowell Observatory was discovered. Its original name was JX 2 in 1998 .
Naming
It is named in honor of Chadwick A. Trujillo , an astronomer at the Gemini Observatory .
