(1469) Linzia is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on August 19, 1938 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

The asteroid is named after the Austrian city of Linz .
