(1546) Izsák is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 28, 1941 by the Hungarian astronomer György Kulin at the Konkoly Observatory in Budapest .

The asteroid is named after Imre Gyula Izsák (1929–1965), a Hungarian astronomer and celestial mechanic.
