(15785) de Villegas is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 18 August 1993 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the Observatoire de Calern was discovered in southern France.

It was named on February 9, 2009 in honor of Esteban Manuel de Villegas , a Spanish poet of the 17th century and Jean-Baptiste de Villegas , a member of the Gezelschap van den Heiligen Bloede in Bruges, Belgium .
