(16355) Buber is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 29, 1975 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian state observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).
The asteroid was named after the Austrian-born Jewish religious philosopher Martin Buber (1878–1965).
