(1918) Aiguillon is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 19 October 1968 by the French astronomer Guy Soulie in Bordeaux was discovered.
The name of the asteroid is derived from the French city of Aiguillon (Lot-et-Garonne) , the birthplace of the discoverer.
