(3030) Vehrenberg is an asteroid of the main belt , on March 1, 1981 by SJ Bus at Siding Spring Observatory was discovered.
The asteroid was named on September 10, 1984 after the German amateur astronomer and publisher Hans Vehrenberg , whose Falkauer Atlas and Atlas Stellarum are used by many amateur and professional astronomers.
