(4228) Nemiro is a main belt asteroid discovered on July 25, 1968 by GA Plyugin and Yu. A. Belyaev was discovered at the Cerro El Roble Observatory .
The asteroid was named after Andrej Antonovich Nemiro (1909-1995), who worked for the Pulkovo Observatory for more than 50 years .
