(4233) Pal'chikov is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on September 11, 1977 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych from the Crimean Observatory .
The asteroid was named after the Russian astronomy student Nikolaj Borisovich Pal'chikov (1913–1937). He was executed during the Stalinist purges .
