(4419) Allancook is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on April 24, 1932 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth from the State Observatory in Heidelberg-Königstuhl .
The asteroid was named after the American astrophysicist Allan F. Cook II .
