(4548) Wielen is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the Dutch research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten and Tom Gehrels as part of the Palomar-Leiden survey .

The asteroid is named after the German astronomer Roland Wielen .
