The 1st Hanau THC is a Hanau tennis and hockey club. It has around 1200 active members and is considered one of the largest associations in Hanau. The club colors are green and white.

history

In 1919 the Lawn Tennis Club Hanau was founded , and in 1921 it was renamed 1. Hanau Tennis and Hockey Club . The hockey rink and club area have been located on the club grounds in Wilhelmsbad since 1949 .

The club has 12 tennis courts, an indoor tennis court, a children's tennis court, a boules court, a clubhouse and an artificial and natural grass hockey field.

World champion and Olympian Björn Emmerling has been playing for the men's hockey team since 2009 . Also in 2009, the 1st Hanau parents' hockey team "Grimms Märchenspieler" was founded.
