The 1st class East Prussia 1941/42 was the ninth season of the second class, now called 1st class East Prussia , in the Sportgau East Prussia . The league was divided into six districts, with no game operation from the districts 4 Lyck and 6 Zichenau. Since the winner of the Tilsit district, VfB Tilsit , stopped playing after this season and the winner of the elimination game between the winners of districts 3 and 5, Reichsbahn SG Allenstein , did not participate in the promotion round, this season was not a promotion round to the Gauliga. Instead, the two best-placed clubs from the Königsberg district ( Königsberger STV and MTV Ponarth ) were promoted to the Gauliga East Prussia for the coming season.

The winners of districts 3 and 5 met in an elimination game, which the Reichsbahn SG Allenstein won. However, the club refrained from participating in the promotion round to Gauliga East Prussia, which was then not carried out.
