The 1. Pool Billiards Bundesliga 2008/09 was the 22nd season of the top Austrian league in pool billiards . It began on September 20, 2008 and ended on April 5, 2009. For the third time in a row, the PBC Black Eight Linz became Austrian champions, thus winning their fifth title and drawing level with the Austrian record champions Eintracht Klagenfurt . For the following season, however, the team was canceled from the Bundesliga.
