2,4,6-Tris (biphenyl-3-yl) -1,3,5-triazine is a chemical compound that can be assigned to the substance groups of triazines and biphenyls . The 2,4,6-tris (biphenyl-4-yl) -1,3,5-triazine and the 2,4,6-tris (biphenyl-2-yl) -1,3,5-triazine still exist two isomeric trisbiphenyltriazines .
Extraction and presentation
One synthesis variant is based on the formation of the triazine structure by a trimerization of m-bromobenzonitrile. In the second step, the conversion to the target compound takes place in a triple Suzuki reaction with benzene boronic acid .
properties
The synthesis results in an amorphous material which shows a glass transition at 95 ° C. After cold crystallization from 137 ° C, a crystalline material is formed which melts at 204 ° C.
use
The connection is discussed as a component in green emitting OLEDs .
