The 2nd Badminton Bundesliga 2001/02 as the second highest German division in the sport of badminton was divided into two seasons (north and south), in which eight teams competed against each other. The SC Union 08 Lüdinghausen and PSV Ludwigshafen rose to the 1st Bundesliga .
