from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2nd Badminton Bundesliga 2009/2010 as the second highest German division in the sport of badminton was divided into two seasons (north and south), in which eight teams competed against each other. The two champions of the 2nd Bundesliga played for promotion to the 1st Badminton Bundesliga , with PTSV Rosenheim winning the Bundesliga South against their northern rivals 1. BV Mülheim 4-4 and 5-3. The last two clubs in each season should be relegated to the regional league. However, since the PTSV Rosenheim rose from the group south to the first division and no one was relegated from there, the 1. BC Bischmisheim II could remain in seventh place in the second division south.
