The 2008/09 season lasted from September 13, 2008 to July 5, 2009. In this and the following 2009/10 season , a different point evaluation was applicable for the tie. If a game ended in a draw after regular time, a penalty shootout took place. Its winner received the third point, i.e. two points, and the loser received one point as before. In the notation of the game result, a plus sign was placed in front of or behind the result. Examples: +1: 1 if the home team has won the penalty shootout, 1: 1+ in the opposite case.
