The Dürkheimer HC is a sports club in the fields of hockey and fencing from the Palatinate spa town of Bad Dürkheim . The club, founded in 1921 in black and white, has around 600 members. The DHC became known through the men's team in the hockey department, which has two artificial turf pitches for playing and training.
Between 1992 and 2006, the men's team qualified ten times in a row for the finals of the German Indoor Championship and won twelve national and international titles. In 2007 she was relegated from the Bundesliga indoor league . On the field, the relegation from the Bundesliga took place in 2005, so that the team plays in the 2nd Bundesliga both indoors and in the field.
In the indoor season 2006/2007, the women's team made it from the 1st association league to the upper league, but does not provide a team for field hockey operations. The youth department won nine German championships between 1969 and 2008.
