3K60 Bal according to the GRAU index 3К60 , NATO code name : SSC-6 "Sennight" , is a Russian-made missile system for marine coastal artillery with the anti -ship missile SS-N-25 Switchblade , according to the GRAU index 3M24. It was developed in the design office of the mechanical engineering factory AO "Конструкторское бюро машиностроения" (АО КБМ, КБ машиностроения, КБМ) in Moscow. The field tests under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense were successfully completed in 2004. In 2008 the 3K60 "Bal" system was put into service by the Russian armed forces.

The 3K60 “Bal” missile system was developed for the control of the adjacent coastal sea and the associated straits as well as for the protection of naval bases and other objects of important infrastructure near the coast.
