The 6th Army of the Russian Empire was an army during the First World War was used. The army was formed in July 1914 after Russia entered the First World War and disbanded in 1918.
history
The 6th Army operated independently at the beginning of the war and served as security in the Saint Petersburg area . It consisted of the XXII. Corps and comprised only four infantry and one reinforced cavalry division. After Romania entered the war in August 1916, AOK 6 was relocated from the northern eastern front to the Romanian theater of war and stopped with the XLVII. Army Corps the southern section in the Dobruja .
