8 game

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

8-Game is a type of poker game in which eight different variants are played alternately. The special thing about the 8-game is that it includes fixed-limit variants as well as no-limit and pot-limit variants. The variants differ significantly from one another in terms of their strategic character, which is why the 8-game is viewed as very demanding and is usually only played by experienced players. Usually the following order is played:

  1. Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball
  2. Fixed Limit Texas Hold'em
  3. Fixed Limit Omaha High / Low
  4. Fixed limit razz
  5. Fixed Limit Seven Card Stud
  6. Fixed Limit Seven Card Stud High / Low
  7. No Limit Texas Hold'em
  8. Pot Limit Omaha

The order is not mandatory; it can also differ.
