9th Royal Bavarian Landwehr Infantry Brigade
The 9th Landwehr Infantry Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .
history
The brigade was set up on August 2, 1914 with the outbreak of the First World War as the 9th mixed Landwehr brigade and used in the stage area of the 6th Army to build positions on the German Lower East Metz in the Tennschen - Heinkingen section . In January 1916 she was subordinated to the 1st Landwehr Division . With the establishment of the 2nd Landwehr Division in January 1917, it was subordinate to this division. She was used on the Western Front during the First World War .
