AJ Bear
AJ Bear (born February 2, 1977 in Sydney ; actually Aaron Bear ) is a former Australian ski racer . He was a member of the Australian national ski team from 1997 to 2006. His disciplines were downhill and super-G .
After his first participation in the Junior World Championships in the spring of 1996, Bear started regularly in the World Cup from December 1997 . In December 2000, he achieved his first World Cup point in downhill skiing in Vail / Beaver Creek, USA .
AJ Bear's career has been interrupted several times by injuries, including serious falls in Bormio . Overall, he was able to place in the world cup prizes nine times in the course of his career. The best result in December 2005 was a 17th place in the downhill race in Val Gardena .
AJ Bear was three times Australian giant slalom champion (1997, 2000, 2001) and won the Super-G once at the Dutch championships (1998).
