The A30 road ( English for road A35 ) is a 457 km long, partly designated as a primary route road in England, which connects London in the east with the headland Land's End in the far west of England.
course
The A30 begins on the outskirts of London at Henlys Roundabout, where it separates from the A4 road , passes London Heathrow Airport , crosses the M25 motorway ring road after Staines-upon-Thames and runs essentially parallel to the M3 motorway via Bagshot and Basingstoke and on, with a break of around 11 km filled by the A303 road , to Salisbury . There she crosses u. a. the A36 road . To the west it continues via Shaftesbury , where the A350 road crosses, Sherborne and Yeovil (junction with the A37 road ), Crewkerne and Chard to Honiton . Around 10 km northeast of this city, it takes up the A303 road and becomes the primary route. Together with the M5 motorway, it bypasses the city of Exeter and then continues as a double carriageway in two lanes to the west. It touches Dartmoor National Park in the north, passes Okehampton south , crosses the A386 road , passes Launceston south and passes Bodmin Moor. Bodmin itself remains off the road to the west. The A36 road joins east of the village. In the further course the road divides its course for a section with the A39 road . From Carland Cross, the four-lane expansion was not yet completed in 2019. The Redruth bypass is again four-lane, as is the following section that leads past Camborne . Further to the west the road becomes two lanes and reaches Penzance on the south coast. There it loses its status as a primary route and continues for 16 km to its end point, Land's End.
